Born and raised in Aloha, Oregon, I discovered my love for clay in high school, where my teacher, Judy Vogland, introduced me to the potter’s wheel. I continued studying ceramics at the University of Oregon alongside painting and drawing, later refining my skills in Italy and at the School of Arts and Crafts.
With a background in design, I blend textures, images, and hand-drawn fonts into my ceramics, using custom rubber stamps on wet clay. I create both functional and whimsical pieces—wheel-thrown or slab-built—designed to bring beauty, joy, and a touch of playfulness into everyday life.
