Artists Greenhouse Sale is just days away, Saturday, May 30 from 9-4 and Sunday, May 31 from 11-3. In addition to the work of 20 local artists, come and enjoy 4th Quarter Farm in full bloom, and purchase a beautiful bouquet to take home! Here are some photos of these fabulous flowers, including a shot of the late Ann Munson holding an armful. We miss her dearly, and the sale continues in her honor thanks to her son Andy and his wife Jessica.

Andy shares the news that this year, because of the nice weather, parking for the sale will be on site in the lower pasture. Follow the sandwich boards to the parking area 100’ south of 1335 S. Woodbine Rd., West Linn OR. There will be some handicap spots available at the top of the pasture in closer proximity to the entrance of the sale. There will also be golf carts to help bring guests and their goods to and from their cars.

Kris Zorko is not only a mixed media paper artist, she’s also a longtime soapmaker. “I always bought handmade soap at farmer’s markets and often mentioned that I’d like to learn how to make it, so 26 years ago my sister gave me a book on soapmaking for my birthday. Candace Wilson has been working with clay ever since high school, when her art teacher introduced her to the potter’s wheel. A career in graphic design informs her work in ceramics — she incorporates words, texture and stamped designs into her colorful, whimsical work. “I truly love what I do, and hope to bring joy to people, whether it be a hand thrown coffee mug or a silly bird head sculpture,” she says. Candace will be bringing a variety of her ceramics to the sale, including lots of garden art and bee water cups!
